Recording Fees

I. THE FEE FOR RECORDING a document is a flat fee per A.R.S. §11-475:
A. Recording any document $30.00
II. OTHER CHARGES:
A. Fee to return documents improperly submitted for recordation. $5.00 per document
III. GOVERNMENT AGENCIES
A. Recording any document $15.00
IV. MILITARY DISCHARGE per A.R.S. §11-465: NO CHARGE
V. ADDITIONAL FEES FOR RECORDED DOCUMENTS & MAPS
A. Paper Copy – 8 ½" x 11" $0.25 per image
B. Paper Copy – 11" x 17" $0.50 per image
C. Digital Copy $0.25 per document
D. Certified Copy (regardless of size or format)* $1.00 per image
E. Certificate with Seal attached to certified copies* $3.00 per certificate
F. Fee to return documents improperly submitted for recordation $5.00 per document
G. Mail Processing Fee $1.00 per document
H. Credit and debit card convenience fee for on-line purchases 2% per transaction
VI. MAPS AND PLATS to record (per image)
A. Subdivision plats or maps (24" x 36") $24.00
1. Each additional image $20.00
B. Survey and all other maps (18" x 24" or 24" x 36") $24.00
1. Each additional image $20.00
C. Government agencies (first image) $14.00
1. Each additional image $10.00

The affidavit of property value form can be obtained from the Arizona Department of Revenue.

We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, cash, checks or money orders made payable to Pima County Recorder. We can only accept credit cards for an in-person transaction, not over the phone or through the mail.

Please note: Checks must be pre-printed with your name. Checks or money orders must be dated within 60 days of receipt.

*Fees established by A.R.S. §11-475(A)(3). For costs to government agencies requiring certified copies, see A.R.S. §11-475(C), fees generally calculated as one-half of the fee established in A.R.S. §11-475(A)(3)
