You may register to vote in Pima County if: (A.R.S. 16-101)
  • You live within Pima County at least 29 days prior to the General Election.
  • You are a United States Citizen.
  • You are 18 or older, or will be 18 by the next General Election.
  • You have not been convicted of a felony or treason, or if you have, your rights have been restored.
  • You have not been adjudicated an incapacitated person. (A.R.S. 14-5101)
You must complete a new registration in order to:
  • Register to vote
  • Change your name
  • Change your address
  • Change your political party
If this is your first time registering to vote in Arizona, you need to prove your U.S. Citizenship and Residency in order to vote in State and local elections. Most voters will satisfy both of these requirements by using their Arizona Driver’s license or State ID number entered on the form.

  • Any mail labeled "Official Election Material"
  • Fill out a "No Address Confirmation" form

College students are encouraged to read our flyer on student voting to determine whether registering and/or voting in Arizona is best for them.

Deceased Voters
To report a relative's death and remove them from the voter rolls, we need official documentation of the death. Please mail, email or bring to our office a note saying that the person on the death certificate needs to be removed from the county voter roll AND one of the following:
  • A copy of the death certificate
  • An obituary that includes date of birth, where they lived, and family connections
  • A letter signed by the court-appointed representative of the estate
